  it s often not imaginable for me, to think that single jws live a life of abstinence.

  i mean at the end of the day we are all humans with desires and wishes.

  most singles are not trained to be like monks from tibet or stuff.. so what s the secret behind it?

  i stepped down in feb last year.

  i had time to read the whole bible once it took me 2.5 years then very recently it took me a year.

  i did not find the bible very comforting, way to much condoned murder only some of jesus words were worth something and so much repetition.

  Rather than allowing my good friend THELOVEDOCTOR to continue in the path of ignorance and be ridiculed behind his back, I exhort him to improve himself.

  I am perhaps the worst typist on this board, and I use the Google Toolbar Spellcheck on almost every message to "check myself before I wreck myself."

  THE JWs were content to let THELOVEDOCTOR wallow in ignorance so they could exploit him. Not I.

  I wonder how THELOVEDOCTOR feels about my advice for him?

  The only reliable sorse of cridicle information is a DICTIONARY. I suggest you obtain one and use it. Outside the WTB&TS ignorance is not considered a virtue.

  The increase is happening because the WTB&TS gave permission for it to happen.

  The "anointing" is a purely imaginary process that occurs in the mind of the "anointed one" only, with NO outward manifestations - it is the word of the anointed, "I'm anointed" against anyone else, and the Official position" of the WTB&TS is that these claims are to be accepted at face value.

  UNofficially, of course, it is a different story. For decades the number of partakers in Africa has been higher than the WTB&TS felt it should be, so those numbers have been discounted and scaled back to reflect a more appropriate number of partakers.

  During the 1950s, 60s and 70s in the USA, the s-l-o-o-o-w decline in the number of anointed (slower than statistically possible) was taken as a "sign" that Armageddon was getting nearer. Now the increase in the number of anointed is taken to mean THE SAME THING.

  THIS IS A SIGN OF A MIND CONTOL CULT - that all evidence, pro or con, points to a foregone conclusion.

  The WTB&TS (Jehovah's Witnesses) is a MIND-CONTROL CULT.
